There is a South Normanton Gardeners Association. I think they meet about once a month.
I have never been able to go since I work full time and most things seem to be in the week.
I would love Pinxton to have it's own Gardening group though, especially now we are getting a community garden.
Maybe if there isn't one someone should start one! I would join it.
I think we should organize a 'Pinxton Seed Swap' next spring. I went to the one at Gardeners' World Live this year and it was very successful.
I found it very useful and a good way of getting new seeds and giving away surplus ones that were not used.

I don't think anyone has taken up this initiative.

There's always news in Top to Bottom newsletter about the South Normanton Gardening club who seem to be doing a good job - but nothing for Pinxton alas.

Anyone wishing to start an organisation please do let me know and I will do whatever I can to support the process online.
